Golden Kamui #4

Volume 4 of Satoru Noda's Golden Kamui, published by Ki-oon in 2017, makes an immediate impression with its cover: a helmeted figure in a fur-collared coat raises a pistol against a sickly yellow sky, while a disciplined column of rifle-bearing soldiers stretches ominously into the background. The tension between that lone foreground presence and the regimented force behind him sets a striking visual tone that captures the series' blend of rugged individualism and military threat perfectly.
