Golden Kamui #27

Volume 27 of Satoru Noda's Golden Kamui arrives via Ki-oon's seinen line with a cover that puts a stern, broad-shouldered figure in a purple cloak front and center, fist thrust dramatically toward the viewer against a burst of red and gold light. The intensity in his expression leaves no question that the series' signature tension remains fully intact this deep into the run. A fine addition to one of the most compelling manga series to come through French publishing in recent years.
