Four scrappy young skaters stand atop a mountain of smoldering rubble and crushed machinery, boards and gear in hand, as an enormous, teeth-bared Godzilla looms over them through billowing clouds of smoke and debris. It's a genuinely striking image — small humans versus kaiju, the kind of standoff that makes the final issue of a miniseries feel earned.
