Godzilla: Rulers of Earth #4

Godzilla looks battered but unbowed on this striking cover by Matt Frank, smoke rising from his wounds as massive clawed limbs — belonging to a much larger, unseen threat — close in around him from above and below. A serpentine tail curls menacingly in the background, and a winged red creature lurks at the lower right, suggesting the King of Monsters is outnumbered and surrounded. Issue #4 of IDW's 2013 series makes a compelling case that ruling the Earth is anything but easy.
