The Godzilla: Rage Across Time anthology continues its globe-spanning monster history with issue #3, and Bob Eggleton's painted cover immediately sets the tone — a fearsome dark kaiju with glowing red eyes and razor-sharp claws squares off against a massive, wide-eyed Mothra larva against a blazing orange sky, ancient stone ruins crumbling beneath them. The painterly texture and moody atmosphere give the confrontation a genuinely epic, almost mythological weight. With Ryan Ferrier writing and Hugo Petrus handling the full art duties inside, this series remains one of the more imaginative kaiju explorations IDW published in 2016.
