Godzilla in Hell #5

The concluding chapter of IDW's wild 2015 miniseries arrives with a cover by Dave Wachter that pulls no punches: a crimson-bathed Godzilla bursts upward through crumbling rock and debris, jaws stretched wide and dorsal fins blazing against a hellish, smoky background. Every detail — the shattered stone fragments, the glowing red eyes, the massive clawed hand tearing through the rubble — radiates ferocious momentum. It's a fittingly visceral image to close out one of the more imaginative Godzilla concepts IDW put to page in 2015.
