God Hates Astronauts #10

Ryan Browne's gloriously unhinged series reaches its tenth issue with a cover that says everything you need to know: a massive, surging crowd of robots and armored figures — every single one sporting a glowing, golden toast-shaped head — bears down on a handful of overwhelmed heroes scrambling at the bottom of the image, including a crackling energy-wielding figure and a wide-mouthed, lumpy blue giant. The sheer density of bread-faced combatants is both absurd and strangely charming, with Jordan Boyd and Chris Cra— rounding out the creative team to deliver this wonderfully chaotic scene. If you've been following God Hates Astronauts, issue #10 makes a strong case that this 2015 series hasn't come close to running out of weird ideas.
