The fourth volume of Tristan Roulot and Corentin Martinage's Goblin's series arrives with a cover that's pure chaotic energy — a ramshackle vehicle tears across a desert landscape, packed with a wild crew of goblins and accompanied by at least one human-looking adventurer, with pyramids looming in the dusty background and a skeletal creature sprawled in the foreground. Subtitled La Quête de la Terre Promise ("The Quest for the Promised Land"), this 2010 Soleil release promises a road-trip adventure with Martinage's wonderfully expressive, cartoonish linework on full display. If you enjoy your fantasy comedies loud, colorful, and gleefully messy, this one looks like an absolute treat.
