A hulking red dragon fills a cave with its wide-open maw, while a trio of mischievous green goblins crowds around it — one dangling a tiny figure over its teeth, another clutching a tray of snacks, and a third watching with gleeful anticipation. Writer Tristan Roulot and artist Corentin Martinage launch this 2007 Soleil series with a cover that perfectly sets the tone: chaotic, irreverent, and bursting with creature comedy. Bêtes et Méchants ("Beasts and Baddies") promises a fantasy romp where the monsters are clearly having more fun than anyone else.
