Part of the beloved Les Aventures du Petit Lanfeust universe, this third volume of Gnomes de Troy brings another round of charm and whimsy from the team of Arleston and Tarquin. The cover says it all: a red-haired gnome child fishes contentedly from a small rocky islet, blissfully unaware of the enormous, wide-eyed sea creature lurking just beneath the surface — along with what appears to be a pink-haired companion already in its vicinity. "Même Pas Peur" (Not Even Scared) is a title that feels perfectly, delightfully ironic given the looming danger rendered in Tarquin's bright, expressive art.
