Ryoko Kui's beloved dungeon-cuisine adventure reaches its tenth volume with a cover that plunges us straight into the chaos — a white-haired figure in a striking purple coat tumbles dynamically across what appears to be the scaly green back of a massive creature, surrounded by flying books, scattered papers, and a wicker basket. Smaller characters can be glimpsed in the background, adding a wonderful sense of scale and bustle to the scene. If this 2022 edition from Casterman is any indication, Gloutons & Dragons continues to blend its signature wit and imaginative world-building in thoroughly delightful fashion.
