Mary is engaged to Johnny, but he’s drafted and doesn’t want to get married in uncertain times. He’s sent overseas. Mary moves in with Johnny’s mother and meets his brother Martin, who falls for her. Johnny returns, a wounded veteran, and Mary realises he’s the one she loves, but Johnny thinks she’s been unfaithful. Mary prepares to leave but she and Johnny reconcile.
