Girls' Romances #12
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeA gorgeous autumn woodland sets the stage for heartache in this January 1951 issue of Girls' Romances. The cover pulls you right into the drama: a young woman in a flowing red skirt is carried across a stream by a blond man, while a second dark-haired man looks on from the foreground, his expression heavy with longing — and the caption makes the sting vivid: "As my sweetheart's accusing eyes met mine, I knew that I had been unjustly condemned — and he had become… My Lost Love!" With a picnic basket waiting on the bank and fallen leaves drifting through the trees, this tenth-of-a-dollar DC romance delivers all the tender tension the title promises.
