Pat has been raised by her strict Aunt Leila, who doesn’t allow her to socialise. Pat sneaks out to date Roger, but her aunt finds out and forbids them to see each other. They do anyway, and decide to wed. Aunt Leila’s own history of being jilted has made her a man-hater, so Pat and Roger defy her to be together.
