Girls' Crystal #982 is an anthology containing three stories: "Trixie's Diary—Daphne of Galleon Cove Camp," in which schoolgirl Bunty Rayner discovers that a hooded figure at a nearby estate is an impostor plotting against Daphne Ronson and intercepts a mysterious note to prevent the scheme; "Molly in Venice," wherein Molly becomes involved in a beach cricket game that conceals a secret, and later confronts an Italian boy named Rodolfo at her father's beachside café regarding a lost ball and accusations of foolishness; and "That Moroccan Birthday of Surprises," featuring Wendy Durlston and her brother Dick in Morocco, where they are pursued across rooftops and through alleyways by plotters seeking to steal the Star of Shiraz, a valuable heirloom brooch meant as a birthday gift for their host's daughter Narina.
