This anthology issue contains three distinct stories. "Friends of the Gipsy Skater" follows Carol Fenton and Denia Gray in Switzerland, where they learn that their friend Mitzi's identity is under threat from someone with knowledge of false claims to her father's estates; Rhoda Beverley works to prevent Mitzi from discovering the truth before Mitzi can compete in an ice-sports competition. "Hetty & Hal in Holland" by Elise Probyn depicts the title characters on a cycling adventure through the Dutch countryside, where they become trapped in a museum's network of passages after encountering a mysterious lorry and later encounter a wax king who imprisons them. "The Schoolgirl" features Miss Delane, the school headmistress, investigating a bundle of stolen objects from Locksley Island that have mysteriously appeared, leading to revelations about staff misconduct and student Sybil's involvement in covering up the theft.
