"Gilda and the Golden Eagle" begins when Gilda's chum receives a mysterious golden eagle badge at a Swiss winter resort, leading the girls to investigate its origins. Their investigation takes them to Mexico, where they discover a snobbish boy has been using the badge deceptively and must uncover the truth behind its significance. "Friends of the Gipsy Skater" depicts Carol Fenton and Denia Gray helping a gypsy girl named Mitzi by retrieving a hidden costume to prevent rival Rhoda Beverley from stealing it for a figure-skating competition. The issue also includes a text story, "A Message from the Hill-Top," in which young Wanda becomes entangled in a kidnapping scheme and must use her wits to escape danger and help the police apprehend the criminals.
