Girls' Crystal #1100 is an anthology issue featuring three stories. "Their Strange Task in Venice" follows Joy and Linda Mayer, who are tasked with winning a water-cycle race in Venice to obtain a model clock for their Italian friend Norina, while dealing with scheming from Norina's guardian. "Sally and Dave—The Gay Adventurers" by Elise Probyn sees Sally and Dave attempt to win a box of chocolates at a fair, leading to a series of comic misadventures involving a gypsy, a pop-gun contest, and various fairground prizes. "The Tour of the Gypsy Caravan" by Doreen Gray depicts Ann and Jill's adventure in a Cornish castle where they help a boy named Bill recover a French pot-pourri jar and navigate the castle's maze, ultimately discovering a plot involving Zambique nuts and island raiders.
