This issue contains two main stories. "Their Strange Task in Venice" follows Joy and Linda Mayer, who are tasked with purchasing a model clock replica of the Clock of San Michele for an Italian girl named Norma while visiting Venice with their aunt. "The Tour of the Gipsy Caravan," by Doreen Gray, tells of Ann and Jill's encounter with a mysterious dark-haired girl named Trudi when a landslide brings a gypsy caravan to their location; after Trudi disappears, the girls search for her and discover a grotto containing Miss Lucy's belongings, leading them to uncover a mystery at the manor grounds involving an unknown voice from a hollow tree.
