This anthology issue contains multiple schoolgirl stories. "Their Strange Task in Venice" follows Joy Mayer and her cousin Linda, who are staying in Venice when a mysterious package is thrown to them by an unknown Italian girl, leading them to investigate and discover a startling discovery after the girl suddenly falls. A second story features Betty at a boathouse on a school holiday, where she becomes concerned about boys from Riverside School competing in a regatta after learning they are forbidden from rowing; the issue ends with a cliffhanger promising "Betty to the Rescue of the Boys at Riverside School" next week. "Kathy—The Camera Girl" by Elise Probyn tells of Kathy Jessop, an American visiting England, who is mistaken for a photographer named Linda Ferron and becomes embroiled in a case of stolen identity involving a competing photographer trying to sabotage her. The issue also includes a "Connie Says" humor feature.
