This anthology issue contains six picture-stories for schoolgirls. "Mystery Girl of the Nile" follows Sandra Drake in Egypt, where a sand-diver named Yasmin gives her a mysterious brooch; Sandra and her chums board a boat on the Nile to find Yasmin, only to discover they've been tricked by chums posing as sand-divers, and the English girls walk into a trap. "Kitty and Kay in Switzerland" by Elise Probyn features two accordion-playing girls who receive a mysterious package from their friend Trudie on a steamer; after customs officials hold an elegant scent bottle, Kitty and Kay must recover the package before it reaches an address in Switzerland. The third story, featuring Tess, Ken, Bill, and Page, involves the boys discovering counterfeit money in their school's cellar and working to prevent others from using the printing press they find there. "That Exciting Holiday on the Broads" tells of Pat Fraser, her brother Tony, and school friend Valerie discovering a shoe on Uncle Peter's cabin-cruiser that belonged to Sheila Naughton; the chums are accused of theft, and Pat must escape to prove their innocence and reveal the truth while anchored on the Norfolk Broads.
