Farm girl Zelda is unsure if she should marry suitor Lonnie. When agriculture student Ray arrives for the summer, he and Zelda fall in love. Lonnie violently objects to this. Ray’s scientific knowledge saves the community from a wildfire; he also saves Lonnie’s life, and then punches him out for good measure. Zelda will wed Ray.
