Giles Season 11 #2

From the world of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, this 2018 Dark Horse series puts the spotlight firmly on Rupert Giles — here rendered as a boy crouching to examine scattered objects on the floor, caught in the eerie glow of a flashlight while shadowy tentacles and a horned demon loom menacingly behind him. Steve Morris's painted cover does a wonderful job capturing the tension between Giles's quiet, methodical nature and the supernatural forces pressing in around him. "Girl Blue Part Two" continues the Season 11 story with Joss Whedon and Erika Alexander writing, and Jon Lam on art — a creative team that clearly understands how to give this beloved character his due.
