Uncle Ringo tries to help his young relatives color Easter eggs, but when he can't find chicken eggs, he sneaks into the henhouse to gather some instead—only to accidentally raid a mother hen's clutch of eggs about to hatch. When the eggs get mixed up and begin hatching into dyed chicks, chaos erupts as the furious mother hen and other animals pursue Uncle Ringo, who finds himself on the run with a pack of confused, colorfully decorated hatchlings in tow. It's a rollicking Easter Day escapade where good intentions lead to anything but good results.
