“Vinn inte kampen - och Jorden överlever!”

In "Vinn inte kampen - och Jorden överlever!", the Joker sits at Arkham Asylum, spinning a chilling tale for his fellow inmate: two days prior, a double-faced figure made contact with the Guardians of the Universe after detecting alien drones siphoning energy from their dimension to ours. The drones, driven by desperation as their world teetered on collapse, enlisted the Qwardians to amplify the flow. Written by Gerry Conway and Hans Jonsson, with art by Dick Dillin and inks by Frank McLaughlin, this 1978 issue delivers a cosmic twist on a classic villain’s monologue—its cover by an unknown artist capturing the eerie tension of the moment.
