In the fishing village of Jon, tools and weapons vanish into the sea, boats fall apart, and Gunnda disappears without a trace. Desperate, Jon builds a wooden boat and dons a metal breastplate, drawn by fate to a mysterious ship where he confronts Baron Thorvald, his long-time enemy. The Baron claims a fiery stone from the sky gave him power over the Vikings—now Jon must face the stone’s curse, cut it loose from the ship’s keel, and survive the storm before his friends can come to his aid.
