Gigant #3/1980
In "Snowbirds Don't Fly," Green Arrow and Green Lantern track down a dangerous drug ring after Oliver is ambushed by junkies—only to be shot with one of his own arrows. As they follow the trail, they’re led to an abandoned hangar where the dealers overpower them and inject them with drugs, leaving the heroes disoriented and vulnerable. Just in time, Speedy arrives to pull them back from the edge, but his own struggles with addiction soon become clear when Green Arrow watches him prepare to shoot up—leaving the hero stunned and questioning what it means to fight for change when the line between ally and casualty blurs.
