“Finding Home!”

In "Finding Home!", Chris Claremont teams up with John Romita Jr. to deliver a powerful, character-driven chapter where Callisto brings Professor X back to the mansion—dressed in Morlock gear, much to the X-Men’s amusement. When the Hellions seize Banshee and issue a challenge, the team must respond, leading to a tense confrontation that forces Thunderbird to confront his past and Xavier to offer a chance at redemption—though not everyone is ready to answer the call. The cover by Salvador Larroca captures the moment with striking intensity.

Callisto rescues Professor X and returns him to the mansion decked out in Morlock gear (which the rest of the X-Men find incredibly funny). The Hellions capture Banshee and dare the X-Men to come and rescue him. The X-Men prevail but Thunderbird comes after Xavier in retaliation for his brother's death (way back in X-Men #95). Xavier talks him out of his quest for revenge and both Thunderbird and Firestar are asked to join the team (and both decline).
