Giant Days continues to be one of BOOM! Box's most charming slice-of-life series, and issue #37 wears that warmth right on its cover. Max Sarin renders an elderly woman seen from behind, dressed in a purple cardigan and apron, tenderly gazing at a tablet displaying what appears to be a small, smiling face — a quietly touching image full of personality and heart. John Allison, Sarin, and colorist Whitney Cogar remain a wonderfully cohesive creative team, and this muted, blue-gray palette with soft pink accents perfectly captures the series' signature blend of humor and genuine feeling.
