“Ghosts and the Supernatural”

DC's long-running anthology of weird and supernatural tales reaches issue #88 with a cover by Luis Dominguez that sets an unsettling domestic scene: a man carries a woman in his arms through a crumbling, shadowed mansion, reassuring her with a speech bubble — "Don't worry, my dear! Once we fix the place up, you'll love it as I do!" — while translucent, shrouded ghosts loom ominously on either side. The teaser title "Harem of Hell!" promises that the couple's new home comes with some very unwelcome residents. For fans of 1980 DC horror anthologies, this issue delivers the creepy atmosphere the series does so well.
