Charlton's Ghostly Tales #121 brings the chill of June 1976 with a Steve Ditko cover that pulls no punches: a terrified blonde woman clutches a mysterious wand-like object as an enormous, shadowy creature with massive clawed hands closes in around her in what looks like a cramped, debris-strewn space. The small inset panel of a caped, bat-eared figure in the upper left adds another layer of dread to an already unsettling tableau. Inside, Steve Ditko also handles the art for "Eternal Honeymoon," with writing by Steve Clement and lettering by Ray Burzon — a fine creative lineup for fans of Charlton's distinctive brand of supernatural storytelling.
