Ghostly mobsters, including Al Capone, strike a deal in Purgatory, trading innocent souls for an escape route. Meanwhile, Venkman reunites with his team and introduces spirits of famed law enforcers as allies. Together, they plan to interrupt the mobsters' operations. In the real world, Fred, using Venkman's body, gets entangled in the ghostly mob's plot. As tensions rise in Purgatory, the Ghostbusters, alongside their newfound allies, brace for a confrontation with the mobsters and their spectral army.
