From the rearview mirror of a speeding car, the flaming skull of Ghost Rider looms large and terrifying — a scene Bill Sienkiewicz and Alan Weiss stage with real cinematic tension. In the foreground, two panicked figures crowd the front seat, one brandishing a gun as the 55 MPH sign outside hints at a dangerous highway confrontation. This 1981 Marvel issue, written by Michael Fleisher with interior art by Don Perlin and Mike Esposito, promises a taut clash between the Spirit of Vengeance and whoever is bold — or foolish — enough to call themselves the Enforcer.
