Part three of Garth Ennis's "The Road to Damnation" arrives with a cover by Clayton Crain that's hard to look away from — a massive, powerfully built figure strains against heavy chains while a flaming Ghost Rider looms behind him, skeletal face blazing and motorcycle wreathed in fire and smoke. Crain's painted artwork gives the whole scene a visceral, almost cinematic weight, with the orange glow of hellfire lighting every detail from the skull-crowned logo down to the churning chains. Marvel Knights delivered something genuinely striking with this 2006 miniseries, and this cover makes a strong case for why.
