Marvel's 2099 line roars back with this opening issue, and the cover sets an arresting tone: a skull-faced Ghost Rider — his head a gleaming chrome death's-head with burning red eyes — straddles a futuristic motorcycle whose wheel blazes with a circuit-board flame pattern, all surrounded by writhing industrial cables and pipework bathed in a fiery orange sky.
