Ghost in the Shell #5

Issue five of Dark Horse's eight-part manga series finds Masamune Shirow delivering a striking cover portrait of a confident, dark-haired cyborg woman posed with arms crossed, a large sword rising behind her left shoulder and a mechanical arm with ammunition visible to her right. A small pig figure perches playfully atop her head, offering a touch of irreverence against the bold red backdrop and military-style epaulettes. "Dumb Barter 2.5.2030" promises another chapter of Shirow's layered cyberpunk world, rendered here with the same intricate linework he brings to both the writing and art throughout the series.
