Ghost / Batgirl #4

The Dark Horse/DC crossover wraps up its "Resurrection Engine" storyline with this fourth and final issue, and the cover by Ryan Benjamin captures the chaos perfectly. Batgirl swoops in from above against a night-lit Gotham skyline while Ghost — clad in white — is caught in a fierce struggle with two monstrous, zombie-like figures who lunge and claw at her in the foreground. It's a fittingly intense send-off to a crossover that paired two of comics' most compelling heroines in one shared universe.
