From Fluide Glacial's irreverent stable comes this third adventure of Georges et Louis, titled La Fin du Monde — "The End of the World" — and Goossens's cover certainly sets an appropriately chaotic tone. A gleeful, rotund clown strides triumphantly down a crowded city street flanked by towering skyscrapers, while a frantic mob swirls around him in full comedic panic. It's the kind of absurdist, warmly satirical scene that made Fluide Glacial a beloved institution, and this 1997 entry looks like a thoroughly entertaining slice of French humor comics at its best.
