☆ Be the first to reviewThis hardcover collects the 2011 IDW miniseries based on George R.R. Martin's unproduced television pilot, exploring a fractured reality where a psychologist and a mysterious woman must navigate a multiverse of doorways to escape a relentless alien threat. The story expands on Martin's original concept, blending science fiction and psychological thriller elements with art by Stefano Martino and colors by Nei Ruffino.
In George R. R. Martin's Doorways #1, a desperate woman named Cat flees through a network of hidden doorways between parallel worlds, landing in a hospital where Dr. Tom Mason treats her injuries and earns her fragile trust. As federal agents close in and a mysterious pursuer named Thane draws near, Tom is drawn into a high-stakes chase that spans multiple Earths, each one revealing new dangers and unexpected twists. With art by Stefano Martino and colors by Charlie Kirchoff and Alfredo Rodriguez, this first issue launches a bold, genre-blending journey across realities, all anchored by a cover by Stefano Martino.
