Gene Autry Comics #26

Gene Autry reunites with his old friend Flapjack Hobbs in town and learns that Peggy, Niles's daughter, is staying at the local hotel. Gene and Flapjack plan to find the sheriff to report trouble brewing, but a mysterious figure is seen lurking about. Gene and Flapjack set out on horseback to investigate, suspecting female outlaws may be hiding in the desert ruins. The issue also includes the story "A Brave Button," in which a thief attempts to steal from a house in Split Rock, Arizona Territory, but his intentions are thwarted when he discovers a marked button at the scene.
