Gene Autry Comics #17

Gene Autry rescues an injured man from a river and brings him to town, where the man—who suffers from a head injury and memory loss—is revealed to be a member of a criminal gang called "The Magic Circle." When the gang learns he is alive, they pursue Gene and the man, determined to silence him before he can reveal their identities. Gene must protect his new friend while evading the criminals and ultimately delivering him safely to authorities, all while the man struggles to recover his memories and piece together his past with the ruthless organization hunting him.
