Gene Autry Comics #100
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis milestone hundredth issue of Dell's long-running western series features a vivid photo cover of Gene Autry himself — dressed in his signature embroidered red western shirt and white neckerchief — caught mid-action as he grapples with another figure in a plaid shirt, his expression tense and determined beneath that broad cowboy hat. It's a wonderfully dynamic snapshot of the "Singing Cowboy" at his rugged best, and with an interior story titled "Sky Switch," readers in 1955 were clearly in for some high-flying adventure. A great pickup for any fan of classic western comics from the golden age of the genre.
