Gene Autry and Champion #2

Gene Autry and Champion pursue a polecat through the wilderness, with Gene tracking the animal's trail while Champion displays his keen instincts. The pursuit becomes complicated when Gene encounters a pack of wolves, forcing him to take refuge in a tree. After calling Champion to drive off the wolves, Gene continues his journey and eventually reaches a ranch, where he discovers a dog named Rebel has started a fire in the barn by knocking over a lantern. Gene must act quickly to save the barn from burning down, devising a plan to create a smoke screen that will allow him to rescue the situation before the flames spread.
