Gene Autry and Champion #15

Gene Autry confronts an old outlaw named Rock and his grandson Young Rock over a plan to teach the boy outlaw ways, insisting instead on taking the boy to learn from a cowboy named Tip Lee. After a struggle in which Rock's rifle is knocked over and strikes dynamite set at a dam, Rock is fatally shot by his own bullet. Gene convinces Young Rock that the old gunfighting days are gone and helps the Ross clan find a new, law-abiding life. Champion the horse assists Gene throughout by pursuing Fluff, a lamb belonging to one of the children, preventing it from being carried away by an eagle.
