Deep in the Genesis complex, Caitlin discovers that Helga is responsible for killing the Keepers who patrol the inactive base. As Helga slips a noose around the powerless Fairchild's neck, Michael Monday intervenes and Caitlin learns that he is a clone of Helga's dead son. Ivana and more Keepers arrive to rescue Fairchild but Michael steps in to protect his mother and is cut down. In order to ensure that Ivana will not kill Helga and for the return of her gen-active powers, Caitlin makes a deal with the devil herself before returning home to her team.
