Gaston #1

This 2011 Marsu Productions collection gathers the earliest Gaston strips from 1957–1958, making it a wonderful entry point into Franquin and Jidéhem's beloved series. The clean, minimalist cover says it all: Gaston himself stands alone in his rumpled green jacket and bow tie, hands fidgeting self-consciously, every inch the lovable, accident-prone office slouch. It's a charming introduction to one of Franco-Belgian comics' most endearing characters.
