Gasolina #16

Issue sixteen of Image's Gasolina — subtitled "Guerra" (War) — makes no effort to soften its brutal tone. The cover shows a bloodied, battle-worn man lunging forward with a skull-adorned totem weapon in hand, his torn shirt and bleeding wounds set against a rural farmstead at dusk. Sean Mackiewicz, Niko Walter, and Mat Lopes deliver a visceral image that promises the series' signature blend of grit and intensity is very much alive in 2019.
