Garfield stands in the doorway with hands on hips, wearing his signature scowl — and it's easy to see why, since a fluffy gray cat is curled up on a pink bed, hugging a teddy bear and sleeping without a care in the world. The lazy interloper appears to have claimed Garfield's prime napping spot, which is frankly an act of breathtaking audacity. Kaboom! delivers another dose of feline comedy in this 2013 entry, and the cover alone promises the kind of low-stakes domestic drama that makes this series such a cheerful read.
