Volume 5 of Gantz:E brings the tension to a sharp edge, with three figures dominating the stark red-and-black cover — a wild-eyed young warrior in modern tactical gear at the forefront, flanked by two imposing samurai-era fighters, one wielding what appears to be a large firearm. The bold, ink-splashed logo and blood-red backdrop give the whole composition an unmistakable sense of brutal urgency. Original creator Hiroya Oku and artist Keito Hanatsuki continue their Edo-period reimagining of the Gantz universe, making this volume a compelling entry in the series.
