Jan 1979 · Arédit-Artima · 7 FRF
“Hulk contre l'Homme Electrique”

In "Hulk contre l'Homme Electrique," Steve Englehart and Herb Trimpe deliver a gripping chapter where Betty's transformation into the Harpy—driven by grief and gamma radiation—forces the Hulk into a brutal emotional clash. With Thunderbolt Ross sidelined and a new commander taking over Project Greenskin, the stakes rise as the Hulk faces a foe who knows his weaknesses all too well. The cover by Herb Trimpe captures the electric tension of the battle, a 7 FRF comic from 1979 that remains a standout in the series.

M.O.D.O.K. exposes Betty to a heavy dose of gamma radiation and turns her into the Harpy. Lashing out at the jade giant for having a hand in her husband's death, the Harpy takes down the Hulk by playing on his sympathies and then blasting him. Meanwhile, officials at the Pentagon relieve Thunderbolt Ross of his duties and place Colonel Armbruster in charge of Project Greenskin.
